BEEutiful!

I’ve been wanting to use some large alpha dies I got recently but was not feeling inspired. Knowing that the sentiment will be the star of the card can be a bit intimidating!

After browsing Pinterest for large sentiment cards, I decided to go with a simple bee-utiful card.

The octagons were cut out of My Favorite Things Watercolor Wash Brights paper. I LOVE this paper! You can get the look of watercolour without the bulk of watercolour paper (or the work!).

I die cut the letters from black cardstock and heat embossed the with clear embossing powder so they would be shiny. The ‘you’re’ is from a stamp set… possibly Lawn Fawn, I made this card weeks before posting this and forgot to write it down! But if you’re going to re-create this card, use and ‘you’re’ stamp you have.

The bee is from an older Recollections stamp set. I love how cute he is! I coloured him up with a yellow Spectrum Noir alcohol marker.

This card came together so quick and easy… my favourite kind of cards!

Thanks so much for looking!
